Imagine a landscape swirling with millions of flower pedals. This might sound like something out of a fairy tail, but it really happened.
For at least one day last year a village in Costa Rica was covered in 8 million flower pedals that erupted from the Irazú Valcano.
An advertising agency commissioned photographer Nick Meek to bring this vision to life to promote Sonys new 4K TV. It took the creative team and the inhabitants from said village to over two weeks to pluck all the brightest, most vibrant flowers they could find.
Over 8 million we’re collected to represent the 8 million pixels of Sony’s new TV.
